xD

Today. Is FRIDAY THE 13TH. Which is supposed to be rather unlucky. Which wasn't really THAT unlucky for me, depends on how you look at it.

THE TOTALLY LUCKY PART. I passed my 2 geog and 1 hist test. Not just pass, but I got pretty high marks too xD But I'm not telling exactly how much. xD *dances around with glee* *wants to rush home to inform parents the good news).

I HAVE NEVER EVER GOT HIGHER THAN 13/20 FOR MY GEOG BEFORE.

NEVER EVER.

YET FOR THIS TIME, BOTH TESTS, YES, BOTH WERE HIGHER THAN THAT.

Is it because our new geog teacher marks rather erm...not strictly/??

THE UNLUCKY PART. I had a fight with a classmate I consider one of my best friend. MY BEST FRIEND.

SHE DISAPPOINTED ME.
SHE DISAPPOINTED ME.
SHE DISAPPOINTED ME.
SHE DISAPPOINTED ME.

Everytime someone refused to give her a chance, I tried to persuade them to do so.
Everytime they wanted to kick her off, I stood up for her. Told them to give her more chances to prove herself. Told them she wasn't that bad as they thought she was.

WHY?
BECAUSE I CONSIDERED HER AS ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS. A PERSON WHO KNOWS ME WELL. A PERSON WHOM I KNOW WELL. A PERSON WHOM I CAN TRUST.

Yet, today...

SHE DISAPPOINTED ME. A LOT.

Is today really unlucky?
I have no idea.

I have no idea.

=__=.

Tomorrow is the Maths examination. Yes, the MYE. Not another test.

Yet, I'm like still here.

On the computer. Not taking out my textbooks and cramming.

On Friday, everyone didn't even seem to be panicking. No one was really like, EXAMS, EXAMS! HAVE TOOOO STUUDDDYYY! It was more of: Is exams here already? Oh, really?

We're not even treating this as an exam. The whole point is, I CAN''''T ! I CAN'T STUDY FORR ITT COS NO ONE'S PUSHING ME!

Would tomorrow's paper be soooo hard I'll be sure I flunk? I only studied a little.

Ok, maybe 1/2 of a little.

Or maybe 1/4 of a little.

OH, WHATEVERRRR....

Luck, I NEED luck. *goes off to find luck*

Studddeeee......must studeeee...

Urgh.

Blogskins is so irritatingly slow. And now, it's under construction. It takes me like...2 hours to upload a skin.

I mean, I'm kinda doing a good deed, making skins and uploading them for the general public (inclusive of michelle zq)'s use and there they are loading soooo slow.

Besides, there are many trash skins all over blogskins that people who are really bo liao upload it to wait their bandwidth. For example, they submit a skin, you eagerly go to see it, and you find out on the preview page it reads:

Yep, it reads nothing, blank. A blank page staring at you.

Then people start to complain in their comments. Just one skin takes away nearly 5 mins of every commentors'/complainers' lives and let's say there are like, 8 commentors complaining/8 complainers commenting. 8x5=40 mins wasted just because of one blogskin that didn't even take 1 minute to be made. Say there are 50 such blogskins. 40x50=2000 mins wasted. 2000/60= over 33 hours wasted. For goodness sake, there are SO MANY things a person can do with 33 hours! It's more than a day!

I know some of you are like, *rolls eyes*, "Whatever." or "lame.". Well, whatever.

At least the Blogskins staff are trying to fix the server now. I hope.

Anyway...

to recall what happened on the day of my pioneer test...

Firelighting. OMG. That was the HARDEST. Ok, maybe the second or third hardest. Anyway, it was horribly, TERRIBLY HARD. I had NEVER lit a fire in my entire lifetime (with a matchstick) as far as I can remember (unless you mean virtually). That was my first time. I was given like, 5 matchsticks. At first I put BOTH the pang and the twigs inside the pit which didn't even look square (but it's still a pit I dug all by myself and I'm proud of it!). The first 5 matchsticks didn't work out (obviously) because I put the twigs in first, and also because there wasn't even an opening. I was inhailing in all the acidic smoke that was making my throat soo...uncomfortable. I thought I was a SURE-FAIL. Then, after that Marion hoped over and she was like, "NOOO! Don't put the twigs inside first!!!". She grabbed the twigs and then instructed me to make an opening to put the matchstick in. Then the matchstick lighted...but I, being so irritatingly stupid *knocks head* on that day, blew the small, pathetic fire out. Then Mdm. F. scolded the seniors and they couldn't help us anymore. So I went over, and my lifesaver miches gave me one of her last two matchsticks (is this the story of the girl who sold matchsticks? - helplessness) and then I prayed that the last one would light up and boil the frigging water. I took ALL the necessary precautions. Opening, check. Twigs out, check. Pang in, check. Then, I lit the matchstick and FINALLY, there was a fire!!!! Yeppers, to spare you all the details, I boiled my kettle of water and came in second (among the 5 of us doing it together). Uma was first. I was sooo heng!

I PASSED MY FIRELIGHTING!

Shelter. This was one of the easiest and I finished first among the 5 of us (only because Quincy's rope kinda overlapped mine and she had trouble tying it). Sorry, Quincy! Anyway, while setting up my shelther, a hole appeared in my poncho because I was desperately trying to pull out the pole I placed in the wrong angle to support my shelther! (Lucky mamril didn't notice it.)

BUAWHAHAHA! *admires shelther*

Rope Ladder. I thought I was very good at this. In the end, when Mdm. F. told me go downstairs and admire my "masterpiece", everything was slanted. EVERY pole. I adjust the 1st 3 and couldn't reach high enough to adjust the rest, but Mdm. F. instructed me to climb it despite it looking so freakishly unstable.

My rope ladder (with the first 3 poles adjusted). xD

I survived the ordeal! Wahahahaha!

Hike. Argh. We went out under the blazing hot sun to fine certain locations, etc. Hahas. Me, Michelle and Uma met Quincy and Fat at the Macs where we all went for a break. Ordered large cup of ice milo and coke before we headed back to the Guide House.

Axemanship. I was despo-ly memorising for the theory...(kept forgetting stuff), but I PASSED. BUAWHAHAHA! The practical was easier than the theory though, and this time I didn't make any lucky charms out of it (the piece of wood cut out from the bush/bow saw) xD

ME IS A PROUD HAWKER! (R.O.S.E)
ME IS A PROUD GUIDE! (Cedar)
ME IS A PROUD MYSELF???

Oh, whatever. xD
